So I did a faux stone wall in a house last week. See what you think.
So, this was the beginning. I painted a sample.
Then, I couldn't stand a canvas of stone..so I made my sample prettier. 8-)
This is the first wall I did for them. After asking them if they liked it, wanted any changes to it, etc. They gave me the green light. Said they LOVED it just as it was.
But, the next day, they told me they wanted to make changes. So I had to redo three walls (which set me back several hours) then continue. Here is the finished product. They did not put the trim back up, or replace the electric covers, etc. But you get the idea.
After she gets her stuff hung back up and sends me pictures....I will add them to this blog post.
So, what do you think?
I used Apple Barrel craft paint. Dark grey, burnt orange, black, and antique white. Then I sprayed the entire thing with an acrylic sealer. Its found in the craft section of most stores. About 5.00 a can. It took two cans to seal this. But, its worth it. Makes it last for YEARS.
